Peter Falzon
Board Member
Peter has a passion for technology and life sciences. He lives in Detroit and is the President and CEO of Ripple Science, a healthcare IT startup in Ann Arbor that provides cloud-based software and analytics for medical and academic research teams. He is a native of Michigan and has an MBA with distinction from University of Michigan Ross School of Business as well as a BA in Economics and Japanese Studies from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. Prior to returning to Detroit in 2017, Peter spent 20 years managing life science companies in San Francisco and Silicon Valley and 10 years learning, living and working in Japan.
In addition to Learning Ally, Peter currently serves on several boards including the Detroit Symphony Orchestra where he is a member of the Board’s Development Committee, a Trustee and a Governing Member. He is currently on the boards of Sensor International, a material sciences technology company near Seattle, and Signal Return, a traditional letterpress and literary arts non-profit in Detroit. In the past few years Peter has given back as Executive in Residence at Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business, board member of The Center for the Study of Citizenship located in the College of Literature, Arts and Sciences at Wayne State University, and Mentor in Residence at the University of Michigan Venture Center.
