Yolanda Keahey, Special Honors - Jersey City, NJ

An outstanding achiever, Yolanda Keahey had a lot of complex courseware to read and study. She is grateful for her Learning Ally mentor who encouraged her to be an advocate for herself and to use Learning Ally to find the academic tools and resources necessary to achieve her goals. Throughout college and graduate school, Yolanda's grades were stellar. She is now in the Doctoral program in Library and Information Science. "I had the confidence and tools to accomplish my Ph.D.," she said. "Not only did I succeed academically, but also personally and professionally. Learning Ally is about supporting the whole person."
