Synopsis

Interpersonal Studies teaches essential principles of personal development, decision-making, adulthood, and the roles and influences of families, peers, technology, and stress. The text introduces students to, and guides them through, such topics as self-esteem, character, wellness, decision making, and risky behaviors. They'll explore adulthood, including marriage and families, roles of families and their influences, friendship development and influences of peers, values, and cultural awareness. Practical coverage includes career preparation and planning, consumer roles, decision-making, rights and responsibilities, stress management, living with technology, and personal hygiene.
