Synopsis

The Lawless School provides the right education for kids on the wrong side of the law.

Heist Society meets Harry Potter when M Freeman enrolls at the Lawless School -- a prestigious and secretive academy for the children of criminal masterminds.

M Freeman's years of unconventional homeschooling have given her a firm grasp on reading, writing, and always having an escape strategy from any room. But she had no idea that her entire elementary education has been to prepare her to follow in her father's footsteps as a star pupil of the Lawless School.

Amidst the student body of young malefactors and miscreants, M navigates different criminal cliques from Crimers (tech criminals) to iDents (master forgers). And she stands out -- so much so that she's invited to join the secret society of Masters. But when her initiation takes her off campus for a real-world art heist, M realizes she's become a pawn in a deadly game between Lawless and its law-abiding rivals, the Fulbrights. Is she on the wrong side of the law after all?
