Christian the Hugging Lion

Synopsis

When Ace and John find a lion cub for sale at Harrods, they bring him home and name him Christian. The three play together, picnic together, and become famous for driving around town in a convertible. Christian learns to hug his friends and together they become a very unusual family. When Christian grows too big for their sofa, however, Ace and John decide to give him a chance to live in the wild. A year after saying good-bye to their lion friend in Kenya, Ace and John return to see if he will remember them. What they discover is that a family’s hugs are unforgettable indeed.
