Synopsis

It is 79 A.D. You are in total darkness because of falling ash. You can't see your parents. The ground is shaking under your feet. All you can hear is the growling mountain. The rotten-egg smell makes you sick. The fallen ash against the door rises. It's up to your knees. People pass you. Their lanterns shine dimly. Your eyes sting from the fumes and the hot dust.
