Blinded Crash Survivor Rebounds in Education
Specify Alternate Text
Totally blinded after a small plane crash, Barry Hyde endured a long recovery and had to start his life and education over again. With Learning Ally's help, he was able to complete his college and advanced degrees -- and today he works as a flight safety analyst at the Federal Aviation Administration in Washington, DC. Here's Barry's story in his own words. We first shared Barry's story back in 2010, when Learning Ally was known as Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic.  With your help, we can give the gift of reading to thousands of passionate learners like Barry who need it most.
