As an organization that provides access to textbooks, many of which focus on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), we at Learning Ally wholeheartedly encourage students with disabilities to pursue careers in STEM subjects. NASA shares this outlook and is looking to increase the number of students with disabilities, both physical and learning, who are pursuing STEM careers through their internship programs.
For students who are interested in aeronautics, engineering, and furthering human space exploration, this internship program may be an excellent opportunity. There are dozens of specific internship options covering a wide variety of subjects to choose from.
Internships are available nationwide for high school students, rising college freshmen, all the way up through doctoral students in the STEM fields. Applications for summer internships are due
