Synopsis

Through Different Eyes is a story about a man who, as a result of a childhood accident, was struck blind at the age of thirty-eight and robbed of everything that he had fought so hard all his life to achieve.

'The bottom line?' the doctor asked.
'Yes.'
'There's nothing we can do.'

Those words plunged Tom, formerly a highly successful businessman, into a nightmare world in which he lost his job, his money and his self-esteem. Yet, eventually, Tom's inner strength wins through and, drawing on the homespun wisdom of his blind Aunt Lil and other memories from his childhood in rural Ireland, he is able to build a new and more meaningful life for himself and his family.
