Kick off the school year strong with Learning Ally’s Race to Read—running from August 31 to October 30, 2026! It’s a no-registration-needed program that helps students build lasting reading habits using Learning Ally’s engaging audiobook platform. With grade-level book lists, fun activities, and the chance to win a class set of earbuds, it’s easy, exciting, and impactful for classrooms and at-home learners alike. Just take your mark and press play—and start the year off reading strong!

Readers, to the starting line! August 31st is the official start of the competition.

Crossing the finish line! October 30th is the official end of the competition.

The Winner’s Circle

Exciting opportunities for all readers to win big during Race to Read! Every day you read brings you closer to the finish line:

  • Schools: Schools that achieve participation from at least 10% of eligible students, with each participant reading for 5+ days in Learning Ally’s Audiobook Solution during the challenge window will be entered to win a class set of earbuds. 
  • Learning Ally Home Members: Learning Ally Home Members who read for 5+ days in Learning Ally’s Audiobook Solution during the challenge window, will be entered to win a personal set of earbuds.
