Mallary Lattanze is a former K-2 classroom teacher, dyslexia interventionist, dyslexia team lead, and an Orton-Gillingham-based program trainer. Mallary is also a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) and Licensed Dyslexia Therapist (LDT) with the state of Texas. She began her mission to find the best literacy instruction to help students with learning differences after struggling as a diagnosed dyslexic in public schools. Mallary is now a Learning Specialist at a private school in Houston, Texas, and a private dyslexia therapist working with students from Kindergarten-college aged. In addition, Mallary is a Texas regional chair with the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA), and on the board of directors of the Houston Branch International Dyslexia Association (HBIDA).
