Celebrating History, Impact, and Reading All Month

March is a month filled with meaningful observances, including Women’s History Month and National Reading Month—both powerful opportunities to celebrate the impact of stories on learning, identity, and inspiration. Highlight the courage, brilliance, and achievements of women who have shaped our world and invite students to discover the joy of reading through our expansive audiobook library.

Great Reading Games Author Event

Celebrate the Great Reading Games with a special virtual author event! Students, educators, and families are invited to join us March 6 at 2:00 PM ET to recognize everyone who made this year’s games a success. We will also chat with Megan Nicolas, author of Discovering My Dyslexia Superpowers. Participants will receive resources to keep reading strong this spring!

Educator Dashboard Updates Today

A new Educator Dashboard update arrives March 4, making it easier than ever to understand student reading progress at a glance. The enhanced dashboard now shows how many students are reading within clear activity ranges, giving a more accurate view that aligns with your student reports. With clearer insights into reading engagement, educators can monitor student progress.

Run For Dyslexia: NYC Marathon

We are thrilled to announce that Learning Ally has been chosen as an Official Charity Partner for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon! Our dedicated team of runners will conquer the 26.2 miles to drive change for students with dyslexia. We encourage passionate educators, families, students, and advocates for literacy accessibility to apply for one of our limited charity entries.

Left Behind: Special Screening Opportunity

Learning Ally is delighted to partner with the award-winning documentary, Left Behind, the story of the first school for dyslexia in NYC. This powerful documentary follows five mothers who fought to successfully establish South Bronx Literacy Academy in 2023. Enjoy free access to a virtual screening of the film, available from March 13 through March 31.

Keep the momentum going all season with exciting March Madness–style reading challenges, National Poetry Month celebrations, and ready-to-use resources that make it easy to engage every student.

From the Classroom

“Learning Ally has changed the reading game for my learners with dyslexia. I have students who hated reading who are now begging for more silent reading time. Thank you, Learning Ally!”  —Annie Kurtenbach, Middle School Teacher
