Understand reading targets

"Reading With Frequency" is Learning Ally's research-based reading progress indicator of strong reading habits.

Most students will show substantial improvements after reading 33 days (approximately 20 minutes per day) within a school year. "Reading With Frequency” is not the finish line, but the tipping point at which we start to see improved outcomes.

Set goals and engage readers

Invite students to set goals toward "Reading With Frequency" and engage them in our pre-built stream of reading programs that rewards students with prizes and celebrations:

  • 33 and Me! Student Goal Setting (All Year)
  • Great Reading Games (Jan-Feb)
  • Spring Into Reading (March-April)
  • Summer Reading Together (June-August)
