Ranger, the time-traveling golden retriever is back- this time on a dangerous expedition to the South Pole! Ranger goes back in time to join an early twentieth-century expedition to Antarctica, where he befriends Jack Nin, a cabin boy traveling with Captain Robert Falcon Scott. They're racing against a rival explorer to reach the South Pole, but with unstable ice, killer whales, and raging blizzards, the journey turns into a race against time. . . and a struggle to stay alive.
