Gary is a graduate student in the Rehabilitation Counseling program at Central Connecticut State University. He is legally blind and has been using Learning Ally’s services for 36 years. Having finished his undergraduate work at CCSU in 1991, he returned in 2014 and finished his first semester as a graduate student with a 4.0 GPA. “I know how important audiobooks are to help people with print disabilities achieve their goals,” he says. Along with his graduate studies, Gary works as an information and referral specialist at Independence Unlimited, an organization that helps people with disabilities to learn to live independently in the community.
