Danilo is pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Central Florida. Because of diabetes, he has been gradually losing his vision through macular degeneration; yet that hasn’t deterred him from focusing on his goal of earning his Master’s degree at UCF and participating in internships to increase his hands-on experience. “I consider myself to be a problem solver and an idea machine,” he says. “I love to learn new things and apply what I have learned to improve processes. Some days my vision is really bad and I cannot focus on the print; so listening to the material through Learning Ally has been a blessing and is crucial to my development in computer science.”
