Avoiding the excessive rigor of most intermediate texts, À votre tour! immerses students in authentic cultural contexts and language to achieve three key objectives: to build and reinforce oral and written communicative skills, to develop reading skills and cultural awareness, and to forge a strong linguistic base. Reprise, the preliminary unit, engages students at their level. The ten UnitÉs that follow each have a clearly defined three-part organization in which student-centered, collaborative activities promote effective self-expression and foster critical thinking skills.
