Ken Pugh Ph.D. to Present at AIM Academy’s Research to Practice Symposium

Ken Pugh Ph.D.Learning Ally has partnered with AIM Academy to present AIM’s acclaimed Research to Practice Symposium, featuring leading expert presenters in the fields of education, special education, literacy and brain function all in one historic interactive event, live from AIM's campus in Philadelphia and broadcast nationally online on March 16th. The Research to Practice Symposium will be available in its entirety for sixty days following the event, allowing attendees to revisit any speaker, session or chat, and take the research and content presented during the event back to their classroom to advance student achievement. One of the featured speakers will be Ken Pugh Ph.D., director and president of research; senior scientist, Haskins Laboratories, Yale University. Among many topics, Dr. Pugh will present new findings from an ongoing longitudinal study that reveal important gene-brain-behavior relations in young children at risk for reading disability. Dr. Pugh will also discuss new methodological developments for gene-brain-behavior research and new directions in research on reading, including recent studies of learning and consolidation, and second language literacy acquisition. In addition to Dr. Pugh, participants will hear from and interact with the following renowned experts:
